LS7 Detector:

When sensing the beam emitted from the instrument the LS7 detector indicates the reference level on the display. An audio signal sounds in three different tones, indicating the required direction of the detector movement. Move the detector down the buzzer makes a quick beeping sound. This is the reference position the buzzer makes a continuous beeping sound. Move the detector up the buzzer makes a slow beeping sound.

With the rear display on the LS7 Detector the reference point can be easily read from both the front and the rear of the receiver.
